Why You Must Have A Fire Risk Assessment

Having a Fire Risk Assessment is not an option it is the Law.

It is likely you will be uninsured if you do not meet the new requirements.

The Fire Brigade will not carry out your Fire Risk Assessment, but they can ask to see it.

A Fire Certificate is obsolete.

Employers have a responsibility for the health and safety of employees and visitors and the safety precautions within their premises.

The employer or 'Responsible Person' has to provide evidence that the safety of all employees has been catered for in the event of fire, using what the new regulations refer to as a "file of evidence".

Ignorance of the new regulations is no defence.
